My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Re: Wanna See Ralley Wheels Please

Here is my 71 Cheyenne. The rims are the factory color, the truck is not.... at least yet. Someday the truck will match the rims.
For the purist.... I know the lower trim is black. The woodgrain was so faded I put black gorilla tape over it to clean up the look.

Let me know if we can help you with wheels. If you would like, PM what you are looking for and I can get you a good price if it is a line we carry. We can get brands that aren't up on the site yet....

Re: Wanna See Ralley Wheels Please

I like the color of your truck. I guess I am just an old fart, but I haven't seen a car ralley that's bigger than 15" that I think looks as good as the originals.

Re: Wanna See Ralley Wheels Please

Hello All,
I have a set of BFG Radial T/A's 245/60/15 fronts and 275/50/15 rear. I am wondering what the 50's would look like on an 8" rally wheel? The look I am going for is color keyed wheel and maybe a dog dish or possibly a moonie hubcap. Just like you would see on a COPO Camaro....a muscle car look if you will.....Question ...is there such a thing as a 15" x 10" rally wheel? I see several pics on here that appear to have wider stock rally wheels? There are lots of pics on this thread sort of showing what I am looking to do, I would just really like to know if the 50 series will fit the 8" wheel and would it look ok?

You can't go wrong with rallies. Thirty plus year old wheels and they still look great.

Now if I look at your wheels without thinking "ralley wheel" then I like em a lot.

Your truck is awsome too!

Yes, it had McGaughy 2/4 springs that I bought from Tim Christian here on the board. A friend of mine went with 2/4 ECE springs a few weeks after I got mine installed, and I his truck sat higher than mine. It took a 1" block and a half a round cut out of the front to get where mine was.
