Although close, the two campers have different windows and one has a back bumper. One also has 64 emblems and the other has none. Pretty cool pics though.

While looking through the pages of this thread my wife out of know where says "I like those, like your truck but for road trips and camping. Since you want yours nice, maybe we should save for one? we'll talk about it later." I was so like What, did she really just say that.

Well, we did it! This past weekend we bought and loaded up a 1967 Teardrop brand slide-in camper for Big Red. Fit like a glove on the first shot.
All it really needs is little TLC including exterior paint, a few light bulbs, fridge recharge, and we're good to go.
Last night we were all laughing and feeling like little kids in a new fort. Even had dinner in the thing, just sitting in the driveway. I tell ya, it's more fun than $500 should buy.

Damn, that looks like new inside...great buy! I'm assuming you will repaint with a color match to the truck, looking forward to the finished pkg. Very cool!!

Long time watcher, first time writer. Lets see if this works. Attached are pictures I thought might be of interest. When I moved into my new house, it turned out my neighbor 2 blocks away had the same truck and camper as mine. His a 66 truck and 64 Camper, mine both 65. We both purchased them from the original owners...got some funny looks at shows when parked side by side. I sold the unit to buy the trailer and the Crewcab. The Crewcab has the original canopy from new.

Nice score! My wife and I do the same thing with our campers and trailers. The truck looks better now with a load and a story to tell.

Yes, they are of much interest, thanks for posting. RV's are the reason so many 3/4 tons are still around in such great shape. Original owners took pride in there rigs.

Not a good idea for a 1/2 ton, not a good idea for a 4X4 with a high center of gravity. Look for a 3/4 ton Custom Camper.

No kidding.
That's just about the most slide-in camper I have ever seen all in one truck at the same time.
The suspension makes it look like a piece of cake.
