Welcome to this forum-experience, truly a happy and educational site. LEARNED ADVICE: Be careful, lest older age sneaks up on you. At that time, there'll be plenty of time to snooze on the creeper. PRIORITIES AND TEMPERANCE MUST GO TOGETHER...IN ALL WALKS OF LIFE!

Re: New here, Hi!

This is the info I found about the block casting numbers.

Hope this helps.
Can't really suggest anything for the big nut other than a crescent wrench or a giant socket.

Hey thanks on the 350 I was on some z28 site and there was just way to much info. Looks like it is not the original motor, ( that's what I thought) the guy at Jegs thought it was. I found an 1 and 3/8 and a 1 and 5/8 open end wrench at Harbor Freight this weekend but now that it is all apart I need a firm way to hold it.

I NEED HELP, looking for two things.
1. Parts diagrams for a 1964 c10
2. Pictures of the parking brake cables and springs near the trans x member.

Thanks

Re: Jake of All Trades 1964 BBW LWB.

So bad news and some good news. The bad news, the PO broke of one the the upper timing cover bolts and silicones it in place. The good news, my compression is real good 155-170.

Orderd brake lines from inline tube. Going to flip the cab and get to work on it.
