This is looking great! How do you like the C4 dropmember? everything go together well? I have a line on one and curious about how others like it.

Re: Project "Full Circle" 66 C10

Thanks! Everything went together fine. Other than that, I can't comment on the ride or handling yet.

I know Porterbuilt stopped making them. Mine was a one-off part that took a while to get done.

Re: Project "Full Circle" 66 C10

Small update before some bigger ones. I scraped and wire wheeled the whole underside of the cab in preparation for welding in all the new parts. Years ago my father made these lift pucks for doing body mounts and floor work. I plan on pulling out one at a time and replacing the cab mounts, then replace the drivers side floor, both inner and outer rockers and cab corners.

Re: Project "Full Circle" 66 C10

Cab braced up

I started patching some rust holes in the firewall

These two cab braces weren't welded together from the factory. Normal?

Some minor fitment required. I had to narrow the rear cab mount and change the angle quite a bit.

Starting to come together

ET III.

Life has been really crazy lately so there hasn't been much work done. My brother bought a house so I had to buy him out of his 1/2 of our current house. At work, we had to move our office twice in two weeks because the new office wasn't ready for us and I was unable to get internet access installed in time. I had to move the servers and phone system to a temporary office for a week where a skeleton crew worked, then move everything again when the new office was ready. I worked something like 20 straight days, it sucked and I'm glad it's over.

I've been working on fitting the driver side floor and finally got my high hump trans tunnel shipped from a not to be named company.

I have off next week and plan to hit it hard.

I forgot to take pics of them done, but they came out great. Butt welding the seam took a long time and I planished them to prevent warping. It should take a skim coat of filler to make them nice.

Here's a better picture of the door skin I found

My brother has make some good progress on his mud truck.

I'm getting there on my cab. Hopefully another couple weeks and I'll be able to get it in epoxy primer.

Pass side inner rocker mocked up

Re: Project "Full Circle" 66 C10

My father helped me hang the door and made sure the rockers look good. I should be buttoning up this side soon.

Great Build!! Love your Jeep and your dads show plow!! Thanks for posting pictures of replacing your door skins. I just ordered full doors skins and the inner panels to repair my doors. Going to be my first time so your pictures are a help!

I've been redoing my bathroom (gutted to the studs) so I haven't gotten much done on my truck. Here are some updates from my brothers build:

Re: Project "Full Circle" 66 C10

I should have some good updates on my truck soon. I got a flywheel, clutch, Boyd's welding tank, and have my Ridetech coilovers on the way. I started popping the bondo off my bedside and pulled the trim off. I need to chop it down to a shortbed and do a ton of hammer work. FUN

Meanwhile, my brother has been killing it on his mud truck. Fresh paint, the fender and door are not completely adjusted yet.

Re: Project "Full Circle" 66 C10

Some more updates. I got my coilovers assembled

and realized I'm going to need to cut (2) passenger side bedsides in half to make one good one, then shorten them. Big project but I don't have the funds for new ones.

Good rear half

Bad front half

Making great progress.
The bed side shouldn't be too difficult for you since you killed it on your door.
I hacked out large areas and replaced with new on mine.
Should be easy peezy for you.

After looking more closely at the 2 passenger side bedsides they're not worth fixing. I found on one this website and it should be here by Thursday. I'll probably keep the other parts and make a bench or something eventually.

Pics to come.
