How do you think this rack will look on "Rocky"? .....or should I leave the existing rails?

Re: Not the cherriest, but it has personality for days!

Roseville Sacramento close enough to you?

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...d=261242410407

Up for auction is a 1964 Chevy C10 Short bed fleet side truck!!

Truck is a true piece of California & American History!!

This truck has the rare big back window with the custom cab trim.

Truck has good patina for that rat rod look!!

This truck has a 327 V8 connected to a power glide transmission with zero issues. The motor runs really smooth and runs nice and cool in the California heat! This truck has the original column shifter so the floors are not cut up.

This truck is completely uncut and is a true classic cruiser. Has no rot issues and only a little surface rust. Floor pan and cab corners are in really good shape.

Truck was lowered using CPP (Classic Performance parts) springs 5 inches in the rear and 3 inches in the front. Truck rides smooth down the road. Has 16 inch steel rims with chrome rings and the tires have less then 5,000 miles on them. Truck still has the original drum brakes and they work great. All four corners of the brake system have been checked and parts replaced as needed.

Paint on the truck is not perfect and has some patina on it but it looks perfect for that rat rod/ shop truck look!!!

This truck runs great and I wouldn't be afraid to drive it across the country.

Everything works on this truck. All lights, gauges, heater, wipers, and so on!!! The gas gauge has a slight bounce in the needle but it works fine.

Interior of truck has newer bench seat upholstry.

There is zero rot on this truck that I can find. Floor pan is in great shape, as well as the floor braces. Cab corners are in perfect shape.

Truck is available for immediate purchase and I reserve the right to end auction at any time.

If you have any questions or would like to purchase this truck please call or text 916-220-6610

$500 non refundable deposit due with in 24 hours at end of auction or purchase. Truck is sold as-is and is available for inspection by a local mechanic if you would like.

I have built and sold a lot of trucks on eBay to very happy customers all over the world. At the end of this listing are some of those trucks.

If you need to use the rack from time to time, but I wouldn't make it permanent. Keep the rails.

This truck was purchased new and used on our Alabama farm by our family. It has never been wrecked and is is excellent original condition. It has virtually no rust and the wooden boards in the bed are in perfect condition. The radio was removed and not replaced. It will take very little work to put this truck in showroom condition.

Re: Not the cherriest, but it has personality for days!

Rene here is your knee knocker you've been looking for! It's even close to home!

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...d=321164449430
1960 Chevrolet Apache Short Bed Fleetside Truck

This is a great opportunity to own a piece of American automotive history. This truck captures the true essence of nostalgic1960's customized car culture. It drives down the road with a powerful 327 V8 engine and original smooth shifting 4 speed manual transmission. The engine has been refreshed about 37,000 miles ago with new flattop pistons, clevite bearings, high volume oil pump, cam, lifters, double roller timing chain and fresh gasket set. The heads were reconditioned with a 3 angle valve grind, new seats and guides. Motor is basically stock with the exception of a new aluminum intake, new 4 barrel Edelbrock carb and new GM HEI ignition system. It also features one of a kind exhaust tips. The truck has been properly lowered with CPP drop spindles and torsion bars turned down. The rear end has been lowered with new 6" drop springs and riding on 4 proper length gas shocks. The front end has been aligned to exact specifications with perfect tire wear and tracks down the road awesome. Front brakes have been converted to new powerful CPP calipers and rotors with new Wilwood power brake booster and hydraulic clutch system to assist in smoother shifting. All brake lines on front and back have been replaced along with new brake shoes and pads. This truck rolls on a brand new set of 15" steel artillery wheels that have been powder coated to a light mocha finish mounted with new Cooper tires with beefy wide 295s on the back.

The body has 2 rust holes in the lower front fenders behind the front wheels that look awesome. All body lines are original and extremely straight. It has an all original cateye hood that everyone throws away or changes out to a 62-66 style. The cat eye hood only comes on the 60-61 and not many are left. This hood is in fantastic shape. All paint interior and exterior are absolutely the 1960 original paint, NOT matched color coat but the original paint with exception of both doors. The doors are original and were painted blue at the beginning of a color change at my time of purchase but were repainted back to white. Most all metal on this truck is original including the body. The rear bumper has been replaced with new and the front bumper is original. All trim is original and available with the truck.

The interior is all original with no holes cut or cracks in the steering wheel. The seat has been completely reupholstered in a 2 tone dark grey shade. The windows and doors properly open and close. All is glass is original and the windshield has a crack but intentionally left for proper aesthetics. Truck has the original factory floor mat. Additional floor mats were added to protect the original.

All logos are painted on the truck and an authentic part of my family's far reaching classic car history. It is my daily driver and extremely road worthy.

All work has been performed at a professional speed shop.

Thank you for looking and good luck!

Thank you Rusty, I added dual exhaust to this baby last month by splitting the manifold and I've been toying with the idea of painting the steelies red and adding some kind of white wall.

No red steelies or white walls after all, but I did change the nice dog dishes for some "tore up" looking patina-ied doggie's that fit the look of the truck a lot better! Check out the before and after's shots.......
