When you get it running, I'd be interested to hear what you think of the FAST EFI.
The XFI 2 is currently my top candidate to put on my efi.

Re: Pics of what puts up your power!!!!!

This is pretty much how I bought the truck. SBC 383, complete with hack job wiring and dirty engine bay. I don't have any updated photos, but hopefully I can get some this weekend. So far I've painted the engine bay, changed carbs, waiting on an rpm air gap, changed plugs, wires, added msd 6al. and cleaned up the nasty wiring.

Re: Pics of what puts up your power!!!!!

Heres a little burnout with the little sbc. We didn't know it at the time, however the #7 pushrod was bent. It was nowhere near tuned or timed correctly, the carb leaked from everywhere, tons of vacuum leaks etc etc. We got it off the trailer, checked the fluids and started with the burnouts! I didn't really care what happened to the motor because a 496 is making its way into the engine bay. Like I said, the P/O did me a favor by quitting on this project when he did! If you listen closely to the end of the vid, you can hear the hot lead to the distributor fall off! That equaled a nice little gas fed back fire!

I'm running a th350 with a 3000 stall with 3:73 gears. Highway speed is right at 2800 rpm with 28" tall tires.

Nothin' to write home about here. But it gets down the road okay. 350/350/3:08.

Street Demon, serp belt set-up, three elec fans (one for the VA), wires stashed away a little,
and some shiny bits of aluminum. Headers were chrome. Now they're chrome and blue.

I'm gonna do a motor next time I rob a bank.

As it sits today. 1987 305 HO TPI with 700 r4.

Hopefully by first of the year the 6.0 LSx motor and 4l80 will be installed. Should be around 325HP when done on the Dyno tune machine.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
