Re: Project Cannonball C10
Roadster Shop Chassis is awesome....I always wanted one of their setups, but......Still killer man. Looks awesome. Glad to see it staying a round eye and the '73-'76 doors! They rock....!

Re: Project Cannonball C10
I'm very adamant that we keep the exterior original to 1974. I'm hoping to keep the interior as close to stock as possible with a few exceptions for roll cage and harnesses. I made a trade with somebody local the other week for some sweet NOS door panels for the 73-76 doors so they should look great when done.

Re: Project Cannonball C10
Not too much going on the last week. Waiting on the new gas tank to arrive so we can start fitting the bed. We came up with some cool ideas for under the hood which will require a bit of fabrication.
I brought one of the fenders by last night to check out how much width we have to work with up front. A little teaser of one color choice I'm considering too |

Re: Project Cannonball C10
Love that frame!!! I really wanted to set my 86 up with a pro touring setup like yours. My wallet said no though. If i would have spent the money on the chassis like yours instead of a paint job then id still have it. lol

Re: Project Cannonball C10
Things have been super busy at work so the project hasn't progressed much in the last few weeks. We are working through the truck from back to front filling, shaving, gapping panels, etc. cab has quite a bit of work including trying to stuff a subtle roll cage in. I want to keep the stock look as much as possible so this will be interesting.
Most of the parts are now here with the exception of the fuel tank which I've been waiting on for three months! Got the engine harness reworked by Speartech, which is enroute back to me now. I think I've got all the electrics figured out and ready. Had M&H Electric build an entire new '74 harness for it, who turned out awesome. Don't think there will be much more progress until July as my fabricator is getting a couple of other projects out the door. I'm hoping for it to see some paint in August |
