Re: HD relay conversion headlight harness available!

I'm in bad need of a harness for my 97. I already built the 4hi MOD into the truck harness but I bought cheap battery relay harnesses years ago and their flaws almost lit my truck on fire a couple nights back. None of the connections for the relays are sealed from weather and the weather pack connectors they used leak and in turn shorted out the harnesses. I've replaced the connectors in a pinch as a last ditch to get my lights working for the drive to and from work for now but I need a high quality harness. I've been told by numerous people that you're the man to talk to. I'd like plug and play if possible. I'll pm you my phone number so you can text me. I work crazy long days so text is best.

Re: HD relay conversion headlight harness available!

Yep, I definitely prefer plug and play. No splicing. It also makes it easy to transfer to another vehicle if you ever so desire

You won't have any of those issues with my harnesses. You'll immediately see the difference in quality with my kits-I only use production Delphi connectors, terminals and related flame/heat resistant split looming and appropriate rosebud clips as well. Although my plug n play harness kits aren't original equipment, they have the look and feel of an OEM integration and that is what sets my harnesses apart from everyone else-they appear to be a factory offering both by design and by appearance. No Chinese connectors here, quality Delphi stuff through and through! I'll PM tracking once it ships! Thanks again!!

Re: HD relay conversion headlight harness available!

The kit came in and i am impressed with the quality. The only gripe that i have is that the ground wire wasn't long enough so that i could mount the relays on the firewall. Fitings were solid but the relays was made in china but otherwise solid product.

Re: HD relay conversion headlight harness available!

The Tyco relays are made in Portugal-not China.

The bad thing is its getting harder to use only US components with regards to relays....Picker and Bueller are both China sourced now....its getting ridiculous.

Re: HD relay conversion headlight harness available!

I'm glad you are happy with it! Shortly I'll be setup as a vendor for Hella so I'll be using OEM relays also on various harnesses. A lot of Hella relays are made in Germany, Hungary, etc. and if its one thing they do exceedingly well, its electrical OVER-engineering! lol

Re: HD relay conversion headlight harness available!

Where do the wires get connected at the firewall can't seem to find where they go. I have a 98 Sierra if that helps out new on here. Any pics of the installed product?

Re: HD relay conversion headlight harness available!

The plug n play kits use your existing headlight connectors for the relay triggers.

Re: HD relay conversion headlight harness available!

You're very welcome sir! You'll notice much brighter lights for sure! Expect about 1.5-2V increase to the lights.
