Yeah I wish. Actually we are 80% done. Just need to move the old stuff we don't want to my moms for a garage sale.

No Dylan unfortunately I won't be able to attend this year. I do plan on being at the get together on April 12th at the Stockton car show and swap meet.

Thanks man. It's definitely gonna be a slower build but it will be fun along the way. Looking to install some 40 series flows today.

Well the flowmasters are in, sounds so much better. Also here's some random pics of the engine compartment. Power washed her down, looks better but still not much to look at. Luckily I've been busy shopping on eBay for some much needed things.

I was thinking of grabbing that 8" brake booster and master cylinder but was wondering if the small booster wouldn't be enough. Obviously you chose a small one. Do you have any experience with it vs. an 11" booster.?

I think the stock ones were 11" weren't they..?

Yes the OE 1/2 ton trucks came with 11" boosters. I have never used the smaller 8" boosters but plenty of my friends have and they say they work great. The reason I pulled the trigger on this particular set was because it's a "dual" 8" setup, so twice the power.

And did you go for a 1" bore or a 1 1/8" bore for disk/drum..? Just wondering what you chose and hope I'm not hijacking. I was thinking 1 1/8" for mine but I can't remember how I came to that decision.

No worries man, your not hijacking, that's what these threads are all about
I've usef both bores and honestly could not tell the differance. This kit happens to be a 1" bore and says will work for either drum/drum or disc/drum. I'll def post what I think about it after I install it. I'll run the front drum brakes for a while longer until I get the drop spindle/disc brake upgrade kit

New lines are always better and I will add new lines once I go to disc brakes. But, I have always been able to just pull the lines forward until they were in the right position to mount to the master cylinder

And speaking of slow build, here's an update. Aluminum radiator went in last night. Man these things sure fit well and are beautiful for the $$$
