Re: 1970 c10 lq9 build
Super happy with the quality of the bedsides from lmc. I've heard the horror stories but I'm glad I was a lucky one

Re: 1970 c10 lq9 build
Did you buy the rear wheel wells from lmc as well? The attachment points where they bolt to the bedsides is a common problem with the aftermarket bedsides. I know a few people who have ended up "Grafting" the mounting flange, if you will, from the old bedsides onto the new bedsides, in order to mount the wheel wells correctly.hope your's aren't the case.
looks awesome so far! Which wheels are going with? Have a good one! Ben Smith |

Re: 1970 c10 lq9 build
Honestly I think it was custom made. That was a truck at sema in Vegas back in November. I took the picture so I could make my own similar one. I have a shear. Brake and bead roller at my work. I will post pics of mine when I get to that point.

Look at post 2939 of this tread. Marquez Design? I looked at their site and did not locate it. I asked the poster and he didn't respond.

Re: 1970 c10 lq9 build
Hey, you might want to keep this member in mind when you go to do your wheel wells....he's making some modded ones in fiberglass, looks mostly like they are for "Body Drops" but might save you some fab work with those "Meat Hooks" you're gonna run in the back!
Have a good one! Ben Smith http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=676606 |
