Re: New Product: Shortened rear wheel tubs for Slammed rear trucks

These look really nice. Would it be possible to take a few pictures with a measuring tape on them? I'm interested to see over height, width and length. Just trying to gauge whether they'll clear my tire. Also, how are you attaching to bed side; just mounting it flush against it with perhaps a little rubber trim in between?

I offer two versions of the tubz. One is 1" wider than stock (CT41s) and the other is 4" wider than stock (CT44's). Both versions are 7.5" tall and the same length as a factory wheel tubs. They have a lip than can be bolted to the bedside just like the factory wheel tubz. The bodylines also line up for a factory look. Here are some pictures of the with a tape measure. Thanks for your inquiry and let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks! Well, I really don't consider myself a business. I'm just trying to contribute a small part to our hobby and to help reduce the frustration and aggravation that we all encounter when building our projects, .

How tall is your tire? These will accommodate a 32" tall tire. That's about as tall as you can go, unless you cut the bed lip. The bed will be raised approximately 11". You'll need the CT44's. I've got them in stock and ready to ship. Let me know.

Finally saw your Chubtubz & I gotta say I liked them. They look just like the metal ones in Betty. I asked "Big Willie" if those were yours too.

Re: New Product: Shortened rear wheel tubs for Slammed rear trucks

Hi Rob,

I dont see any reason why you couldnt run these tubz on any type of bed (fleet or step) or year of truck. I mean with the fiberglass being so amiable to modification the sky is the limit really. Step side beds are completely flat on the inside except for a couple bullets impressed in the them but that could be easily filled.

I wish I would have seen these before I custom built my own steel wheel tubs!!! these would have worked great for my big PHAT tires!!!!

I would open up your sales to all truck models....

Thanks PTC!! And you are correct they will work on practically any truck with a raised bed floor. They will just need slight modifications for the bedsides. Here's a picture of a set in a 64C10.
