Re: 1959 Apache Reborn

Well after getting to Rob pinkertons house at 7 am I finally have my cab back on the frame. I wish I could say it went off without a hitch but this thing fought us tooth and nail from getting this thing on a trailer and finding out we are a foot taller than the doorway to exit the shop to getting stuck in my yard trying to unload from his truck. lol! I can not say how extremely Thankfull I am to have met Rob Pinkerton. He generously aided me with a shop, tools, frendship, and a vast knowledge of the hobby we call hot rodding.

Re: 1959 Apache Reborn

For sure fellas. It was much easier getting it off the trailer. Also need to thank.my buddy adam for letting me borrow his trailer. Both him and Rob live an hour away in westminster. Both made the trip to help get this thing back together.

Re: 1959 Apache Reborn

Got my gas lines ran and my tank mounted. Still waiting on my filter. Turns out they were out of black and sent me a message that they had other colors to choose from so looks like a few more days till I try to turn this thing over. Also started looking at my steering column and not Sure if the shorty headers are gonna work on the drivers side without some form of swivel union.

Re: 1959 Apache Reborn

Well long night but we'll worth it getting this thing set back in place. First time it's been all together in close to 2 years. With just me putting this thing in to place with my cherry picker lol.

How do we put brackets onto the cast center section as you did? (where you mounted the upper link arms)
