Thanks Fred...i am not interested in the clutch linkage just the shifter linkage. I have a spare steering column i could include in the deal so your truck would still turn...and i am completely down to remove the parts myself...i am driving to Arkansas i should be there by 8am saturday and then i am back on my way by you sometime later saturday night

Fred,

What about the outer grille shell, is it for sale, what kind of shape is it in, how much do you want for it, and when would it be available (not that I am in a hurry)?

Thanks,

Tim

Re: Parting a 69 C10 with small block and three on the tree.

Does it have a Saginaw 3 speed? If so, I need the shifter linkage (rods and ears) if it is still on the truck. Looks like the rods are still there from the engine pick. Let me know about the tranny ears. Pics would be good so I can confirm they will fit my Saginaw.

Dying to lock in these parts. They are the final piece to get my old friend back on the road. Please let me know if we can work a deal.

Thanks

It is a 3 sped manual,, i assume it is a Saginaw. I am not where I can get pics of those parts now, just left the shop. I have a couple of guys wanting all the shifter linkages as a set but it will be a week or so before i can get those parts pulled as I still need the truck driveable. Thanks, Fred.

Thanks Fred. Keep me posted on the linkage. It would save me a ton of searching if we could work something out. I'll watch for updates.

Re: Parting a 69 C10 with small block and three on the tree.

Fred $100 sounds good to me. I have a buddy of mine that has family in Branson, he will be there next month to go hunting and in December he is going there for Christmas. Any chance you will be in Branson between now and December or do you think it can be shipped?

Re: Parting a 69 C10 with small block and three on the tree.

We might have a problem Tim. I am on the other side of the state from Branson, only get out that way for the Springfield swap meet in August. We cannot ship larger parts, had a couple of bad deals a few years ago and swore shipping big stuff. Sorry. Thanks, Fred

No problem Fred I fully understand about the no shipping thing. I will have to pass on this one, but thanks for getting back with me so quick.
