Now I feel pretty dumb that I couldn't associate the Roman numeral 'I' for the number '1' seeing how they taught Roman numerals when I was in school.

Do they teach Roman numerals anymore?
Probably don't teach them now, but don't know. Don't beat yourself up, it's unusual to use Roman for one out of all digits. And of all numerals why use the one that looks like the letter?

They teach "New Math" now. We have become the Romans. If I go farther it will become political.

Re: Our barn find

This is Dee (aka Farmerjane) typing on Daddy'O's account. What an AWESOME surprise I got in the mail yesterday!! flashed sent me two incredible patches to go with my "new" '55 wagon. WOW~!!! Had Daddy'O take my picture with them with "Big Blue" (as I'm callin' her for now at least). I truly appreciate you thinking of me and sending me these great patches. I have grand plans for them! Going to put one on the shirt I'm wearin' in the picture and thinkin' I'm gonna get a black Dickies jacket and put the other one on it. SO EXCITED~!! I may not be a member of this forum but I do get on here and read every so often. GREAT GROUP~!!! P.S. Sorry - long day and no makeup or hair done today. HA~!!! I'm SURE you'll overlook it.

It's called the Super Bowl. Though no longer since they are changing to Arabic numeral "50" this year as "L" would be confusing to many.

I showed this to farmerjane and she said, "Wow, she's really into that car!"

I love it, if I would have suggested my wife go spelunking she would have given me the stink eye....

You are a lucky man Doug! You still have that ride?

Re: Our barn find

Daddy-O, stink eye I reckon.

Advanced Design, did she get the trunk open? Is she still in there?

My wife walked in the shop today. I said "why don't you put the windshield back in that Blazer" she says "your the one sittin' on his butt". End of conversation.

I was wondering the same thing?

After 34 years of marriage, I can recognize the stink eye before it actually happens.......
