JayDubBlazer-
I feel like that blazer is NEVER gonna get done...but I am also a very impatient WOMAN!!! We have only owned it since March this year....Thanks for the mention tho' I agree with us Blazer's sticking together. I like that Orange 2WD mentioned earlier, but I am partial to the 4WD blazer look...(must be the country bumkin in me!!) I don't think my blazer will EVER be truck of the month tho. You haven't ever looked at the engine bay have ya....pretty boring!!!! |

forgot to mention
This message is in reference to the message from that nice man that welcomed me to the board. I might have forgotten to mention that I am a women, and the truck we were speaking about is my husbands. Sorry for the confusion.

Is there gonna be other stuff for the month/year.. Like nicest stance, best customization, etc.... I personally would like to see other year of trucks make it for Truck of the Month, then again I am have a biast decision..... And also, my vote goes to Mudder.... Gotta love the 67-68 chevys.....

I agree there should be more categories for the truck of the month to be judged on such as new school type trucks and the old school type trucks there really ought to be more than one Truck of the Month to vote on in have the nominees be in those two categories.

I personally think the nominations should be different every month....so everyone gets a change to be truck of the month instead of the same trucks being on there all the time. Just my opinion

Ok
Can't keep my mouth shut any longer..... The first month started out pretty good. Project70 did a really good job with Tennmans "old truck". I dont really see another truck of the month happening here because there is noone that has the ability to make the nominations "stickys" or the voting "stickys" These need to be done each month at the same time. A week for nominations and a week for voting.
Nominations should be done by the truck owner himself with a small picture of their truck...... If you want to be considered you make it known in "sticky" thread for nominations. That way people that aren't interested are put on the spot. Nominating yourself has worked great over at CTS for over a year now. This should probably be done over on the GD board so that all the members on the site can participate, not just the 67-72 owners. That would also get the stickys off this board and the TOTM would have a place all its own......Like the political forum.. On other sites a form is sent out if you are selected TOTM for all you truck info and pictures so that a nice thread can be put together for your truck. We should be voting on Nov TOTM this week. Flame away!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL |

Here is the TOTM forum at CTS....Highboy takes care of it and I don't even think he's ever been late posting the TOTM. I was Dec 02 TOTM there. Check it out.

Now that is done very professional looking. I guess there has to be a board member willing and computer literate enough to handle the job.
Anyone??? |

Josh is going to have to decide if he wants a truck of the month and find someone that will keep it up each month. The ability to lock threads and make stickys.....
