Re: Sell to whoever? Or sell to the right buyer?

Truck sold to a buyer off EBay. He contacted me off my Craigslist ad, gave me an offer but asked that I meet him 1/2 way which was 150 miles. I declined. Turned out he was the high bidder on EBay. He has been wanting a 67-72 C10 for 10 years and the wife finally gave her approval. He said he was going to restore it, drive it and enjoy it. In the end I got what I wanted for the truck and it went to an appreciative owner.

Re: Sell to whoever? Or sell to the right buyer?

The guy that bought my old original paint Cheyenne Super swb told me he was going to restore it, couple years later he sends me pics, he put a BB in it, slathered in billet excessories. He rattled canned erverything under the hood that wasn't the engine flat black. Painted over all the factory chalk markings, and got rid of the cruise...it bugged me but it was his truck now, plus I had already spent his money. I'm sure I've done things to vehicles the previous owner would cringe at.

When I sold it...

He doesn't tell you how to spend the money, you don't tell him how to build the truck he bought from you with that money. Seems like a win-win deal.
