The water pump is on, tomorrow paint! I am putting a reverse flow water pump and a serpentine drive from a 97 Silverado!

We removed the mechanical fuel pump and installed a block off plate
We re-installed the fuel rail

we had to lift the motor because the power steering bracket was bolted to the motor Mount
This is what I intend to do to the upper plenum and valve covers.

we got both runners on, but IOT get the old power steering pump off (it was attached to the divers side motor mount. IOT get it off we had to unbolt and lift the front of the motor and lift it. Now we are strugling getting them back in.
Also got the fuel sender in.

We’re painting engine color between the fins on the Valve covers
The upper plenum and throttle body are on This is a 58mm BBK throttle body (10mm bigger than stock) It should complement my 24lb/hr injectors and adjustable fuel pressure regulator nicely.

We bought some 3.5” pipe and cut holes in the crossmember
Then welded the pipe in to tuck the 2.5” duals above the frame

We had issues with the ram's horns, with 2.5” pipe they wouldn’t clear the frame. So the easiest solution was to buy new header’s. These Stainless steel shortys are listed for a 70's F body.
