Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Guess you're not a mind reader.

For our rear links.
Was planning in using the the rear spring hanger to locate the lower link.
2 inch x 1/4 wall dom tube is 1.490 I.D

Nice.

What was the outcome on the rear link bar/bushing combo?

The bushing fits with grease.
Rolled a edge of the urethane
May have to hone them a bit.

Still on the fence about the 2 link...

I would skip the poly bushed front pivots if you decide on the 2-link. I'd use a spherical joint for less bind & more articulation than possible w/poly.

Kid wants a 4 link. I want simple, he wants performance.

Definitely 8 lug.

Well if I go that way. You'll get a pm with a parts list.
You helped me a ton with the 91 I did for my bro in law

Pretty basic static drop for now. Unsure if I'll do full bag swap or just helpers @ this point. The plan was full swap but it sits good & it's nice not having to clearance the bejeezus out of everything.

It high centered this past weekend pulling that load in the pic as it sits. Heavier loads will need some help.

Re: 2wd swap

This is the '91 3500 you helped me with.
350 4spd now with a 3.08 10 bolt.
Went ghetto tho reamed 1/2 stock spindles for the 3500 ball joints
Clipped 2 coils and new axle pads cause a flip wouldn't with 3500 spring hangers.
I bought when the b-i-l spun out on meth and since sold it to a neighbor

Re: 2wd swap

I just welded the ends of the flip brackets to the leaf pads on the housing. Kept them from moving. Did the welds where I could easily buzz it off if/when desired.

The 3500 spring hanger didn't line up with the 1500 spring pads.
Why we used new pads.

Rotor fits in the wheel center. Was really concerned they wouldn't.
But the rotor got swallowed up in a 20" wheel.

11.9 according to the order.
Powerstop rotors.
Seems like enough room for a pad swap with out taking the wheels off. Ha !
