If you are talking about the PermaDry gaskets, they have torque limiters built in so you cannot over-torque the bolts. I have the valve cover and oil pan gaskets. They are expensive, but worth it in my opinion. They are also reusable, which is nice.

I think I read somewhere to put a dab of rtv on the edges under the 4 bolt carrier when replacing the neoprene main seal.
