A little fun with my B-day present, a camera. Too bad I couldn't get them larger on here.

Thanks Bro! The work is there for sure, no matter how many crews you see, but it is tough to get many accounts when you have other people doin it on the side and undercuttin your prices by a third. Dirty Bas-turds. If you want to work from sunup to sundown for $15 to $20 a yard no matter what size it is then you'll make it.

Oh well, it really captures the colors on my truck in the sun but I can't the pics on here because of the size they are. Gotta figure this out soon!!!! I appreciate the SLICK comments! hahahaha and I hope it IS done right in the end!!!!!!!

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

From what I have read here before, loosen the rear bolts of the hood hinges. Then lift the hood and push it up as far as you can, then tighten the bolts (takes 2 people). Hope it works for you.

Thanks bro, but we tried it but it didn't go down enough to close the gap at the cowl. Maybe time to call the bodyman back for some quick help!

Looks good. Did you paint the hinges? Could be paint binding them from going all the way down....

Thanks VA. The hinges were painted about 7 years ago by my buddy. I have not thought of that but there is a chance that could be it! I'll check it.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

did your truck have a antenna from the factory or dealership if not then you will need to drill a hole but if you did then it should be there i would take the cowl panel off and put it all the way you want it then bolt the cowl back on

don't want to thread jack too much but it did have an antenna...so that's what is puzzling me...everything is shaved on my other truck so I never paid attention to where the antenna came out of and this one was done before as well of course...

that is what i was just going to say if you take the springs off and it can be lined up good then you need new springs if it don't then i would say you need hinges..... its been to long since i did mine i had the same issue and i believe we went with new springs and hinges........oh and your truck looks AWSOME!!!!!

DO NOT USE REPRO HOOD HINGES! They will fold up due to thin metal and damage your hood and fenders. GMpartsdirect.com has Original GM Hood hinges, so they are probably still available from a local GM dealer (special order, I'm sure). GMpartsdirect shows the parts numbers and prices like below:

LH Hood Hinge 3911705 $66.64
RH Hood Hinge 3911706 $45.46
