I love the yellow color too... Reminds me though of a '65 Vette a guy on the SPI forum did. He used 'Buff' 2k Primer for basecoat and then cleared it. Easy !!

Yo wassup? This is my 67 small window CHEVY It's actually me second one.I love the 67/68,just dope man! I have BIGG PLANS for it,in the up & coming years. I think Dean Sears(black 68) set the standards for these trucks, also Danny Navarro(red 68). They have this other Green one thats featured in SPORT TRUCK(september 2003)issue,the guy is from Mesa AZ.man, that thing is FRESH!! His name is Manny Navarro, just crazy! Well from my stand point, that's the 3 finest i've seen,so i gotta reach that status with mine!

Dean Sears

Danny Navarro

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

Bought this mostly done. Previous owner did all the hard work. I just insulated the cab, lowered it (rebuilt front end suspension, spindles, 3in springs), R200 O/T trans, new back window, stereo & tonneau cover. I also changed the headers and had them cut a hole in the crossmember to keep the single 3inch exhaust tucked up. Need to remove gas cap (fuel tank/cap in bed), antenna, maybe sidemarkers too & 1 piece windows (or replace vent window rubber as a lot of windnoise). Paint is faded and needs to be redone, thinking of another color. Pretty much all cosmetic stuff now.

Man that looks almost exactly like my first truck I had in high school.. sold it when i went to college.. I thought that was it till I saw the interior.. The good thing is that I have always regretted selling it and last week I just bought another 68 swb and starting to tear it down in the garage.

Seems like if you are gonna put all that power under the hood, you oughta secure your hood better.
