Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Finally got the cover fiasco (sizing issues) cleared up with carscover.com.
Nice folks. And they stood tall. So, if you need an outdoor/fleece lined cover and can't get it from a Forum Vendor, the "Ultrashield" (100% rainproof - claimed...jury's out until it pours) you want for a short bed is Product Code 101VLH4AM, regardless of what their make/model matrix wants you to order. I put it on today. It was bucks-up for me at about $175 shipped. Less than the $500 custom-fit Calcarcover I have had before. But still big dough for me. Fit great (no mirror pockets - I use oven gloves over the leading edges of the mirrors) Belt-Strap under the center. Elastic front and back. Looks high quality. Anyone wants a pic or two, speak up. First and foremost, I go with the supporting Forum Vendors. But I didn't get any response as to rainproof/outdoor guarantees, so I went with that one from www.carscover.com

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I got the truck up on Jack Stands, pulled the front tires, and orders all my front brake parts. The parts will be in by noon tomorrow so as weather is begining to come in on us, I plan on doing a front brake job. Going to replace everything from rubber hoses out to the drums. I am not replacing drums as they are still in good shape. Looking forward tomorrow.

Fixed a Gauge issue, installed the chrome pulleys that showed up, and stared at the truck.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Finally got the opportunity to take the truck to her first show last night and Ended up taking taking best of show! There were so many crowded around the engine bay all night it was a real treat to hear the responses when they realized that I hadn't just dropped a small block under the hood!

Fitted sheetmetal all weekend. Wrestled the hood all afternoon mostly due to a mix of OEM and aftermarket parts.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I finally started my winter project. Cut out the cab corner, outer rocker panel, the lower door pillar and the cab kick panel area. Just have to get a couple more patch panel and it will be going back together. Then start the left side. It turned out to be about a six beer job so far.
