"When welded to the exhaust pipe it will fit perfect."
Why wouldn't you just weld it to the fender? It seems if you weld it to the pipe it would rub your paint off. Got to check ebay. |

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
The bezel is bolted to the fender, and the exhaust pipe will be on a exhaust hanger but centered better. I have a big exhaust tip that fits over the inside of the Corvette bezel, but that might burn the paint if it heats up the bezel.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
get some kind of heat displacing paint and spray the bezel, should keep heat off it some.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
Just sold my wife's Subaru Outback, and picked up her new toy. Or should I say OUR NEW TOY.
This is our 10th Corvette since I was 19 years old. It's a 2001.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
The wife has way more than 43,000 miles on her. And yes she is expensive
Dave, I'm sure somebody has already put a truck body on a Vette. Anybody from this forum?
