Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Here's the inside

Why the hell would you put the light plug on the outside of the box?

This was today, There was a lot more snow 2 days ago, but it's been above freezing

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

95 S ...... it is a camper special ..... I'll bet it, at one time, carried a camper in the bed area. Mine did & that same plug is on the inside.

But ..... that's a guess.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

It did have a gooseneck hitch, still has the hole in the bed floor. Usually you would put the plug on the inside of the box though.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

I agree ..... mine is on the inside wall of the bed but ...... who knows what or why folks do the things they do. Perhaps it was just easier to have it there??????

haha..yep! They just couldn't understand why I would trade a newer truck that was already done with mods, for an old truck that basically is doesn't have anything done to it. Biggest reason they "didn't understand" was because most of them were just kids.

I had my fun with my other truck, i modded it the way I wanted to, and I finished it. Now its time for a new project.

Here's a picture of my old truck. The one I sold to buy my 86 dually and build.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

this is the picture of my dually as i bought it 81 dually with 79 front clip.

It now is completely stripped down i have installed drop spindles and 2600pound bags in the front and a paralelle four link in the rear with 3800 pound bags and a c notch i may add to the drop after i get the engine and transmission in.

Ive got another donor truck which i took out the hydraboost and installed it in mine and the pedal assembly with master and slave cylinder which i will have to change the slave. Also using the donor truck box. prettty good deal smashed the cab repainted two years ago has a 454 almost perfect box hmm 600 bucks not bad.

Im going to be installing a 97 cummins engine and NV 4500 in my truck.
