Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd
Did you leave early?? I was looking for your Sub out there, but I did not find it??
What a turnout though. Everything from a 40,000mi second owner 68 Hurst/Olds survivor to a Ford Cammer in a Galaxie to a couple Diamond T's and two different red pre-war Willys coupes, an Edsel Staion wagon and everything in between. Wow. Definitely the weekend tyo go out there. Kinda bummed I didn't see your Sub out there though.

Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd
So, should we start a pool on how long it takes for this thing to be laying running boards?? (I'd say lay frame, but the boards are much lower than the frame...)

Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd
Dino,... ever think about putting the C50 on a 73-87 1-ton dually chassis?
Find a nice "cab & chassis" truck with the narrower rearend,... and tuck some 10-lug 22's or 24's. Also plenty of drop components for these trucks. I wanna see those running boards on the ground!

Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd
love those 67 sbw's..
hey a couple of ideas for you- 1) lower it!! 2) find another set of fenders and running boards to match the rear wheel well to the front... kinda like this pic-(I know I know it's really rough, but I think it gets the idea across...)

Instead of stretching the bed, stretch the cab.

Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd
Dino, The sub turned out killer!! Your new C-50 project is going to be off the hook just like everything else you do. You just don't run out of ideas do you. The problem around my shop is not havin' enough time to get anything done. My job keeps gettin' in the way. haha

Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd
Dino that truck is bad a$$. Can't wait to see what you do with this one. You should put a wrecker bed on it and slam it so you can move all your potential projects around. Keep up the good work.
