Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane

Hahaha sorry guys I've been slackin on this thread. The truck is on the road now. I still have to wire the fan and get a couple gauges working right but it's runs good and turns a lot of heads. I took her to the local cruise in today and had a great time. Just gotta tie up the last few loose ends and then I'll be driving the wheels off it

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane

I love this truck, it's just awesome. I love the wheel tire combo on this truck too.I guess one reason I like it so much was I had a solid hugger orange 71 swb Cheyenne that I sold back in 2000, it was the one that got away.

I'm just getting around to replacing my cab corners, but I dont have the inner piece as shown in that last photo. Is that piece reproduced? When I cut the cab corners off, I can see straight through to the other side

Bill

Edit: Sorry, I thought quote would also include photos. The photo I was referring to was on the first page of the thread

Hey Bill, I don't know if that piece is reproduced. I would think if you had a local place to get raw metal you could make one fairly easily since its just a flat piece. Mine were sand blasted and still had some integrity so I left them in
