Mine too, with out the holes though. And a different profile, but yeah, similar plan for mine too. Looks great.

Hey, top of the next page. I was wondering if the holes through the firewall are covered under the dash to keep sound and heat and fumes out of the cab. Or are they all in the upper cowl area?

The holes go into the cab but are backed with stainless steel so it is bolted down tight no heat or fumes are going to come through there. Plus once the fire wall is painted it will be backed with dynamat

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Well drove out to goodguys today and picked up my Teas seat. I also recieved all the material for the rest of the interior. I put the dynamat down and mounted the ac vents in the lower panel. Mounted the under dash with billet stainless and aluminum washers. I also put in the billet door vent. I really like the way it is coming out. What do you guys think.

Everything looks awesome Eric, as expected. I was wondering at what point you shaved the wire gutter on the firewall. Did you remove the vertical flange from factory or did you cut it down flush and smooth it? I will be shaving mine soon and was going to weld a 45* up from the wire gutter but was concerned that it may interfere with PB hood hinges as a future mod.

Oh and how will you seal those dimples in the firewall? Seems that they could leak water into the interior, not that this beauty would ever see rain but wondering what you are thinking there.

I shaved the gutter first then counter sunk the hinges into the gutter kind of backwards but it was super easy. I would do the hinges first then do the gutter

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Its coming along great and the seat looks outstanding. Are you going to do something with the brake pedal leg to match up with the rest? You know, drill holes, polish it up, etc.

Seat looks awesome Eric, it looks super comfy. I like the idea of the vent mounted in the dimple die, looks like it belongs there

Looks awesome, I really like the Tea's seat. One question, why did you leave the tranny hump uncovered? Is it coming out?

That definitely is a different color for an orange truck, but it should work out juuuuust fine!
