Okay here is mine its a 71 Cheyenne Super was an original truck before I modified it. I still have the original engine. Now it has a 496 and is lowered 4/3 1.25 front sway bar along with an IROC 1.0 rear bar. Wheels are Coys 15x10 and 15x8

Re: Post pics of your Longbed Trucks!! No short stuffs allowed!!

I realize this is a terrible picture, I didn't take it.

The significance of this is... wait for it...

my girlfriend borrowed my pickup, tired old 250 I6, manual steering, manual brakes, 4-speed... and drove it on a 200 mile round trip up into the mountains to go mountain biking. This means a few things, one that it's running pretty well, 2 that it must be jetted reasonably well, and 3 I think I'm dating a pretty cool chick. She'd borrowed the truck to run to home depot for fence stuff and then went to show it off to a friend and I guess they couldn't stuff all the bike stuff into her little VW golf so they're like "screw it, take the truck", checked the oil, filled her up and off they went. Sorry, I'm pretty excited about this, I'm just glad it's been reliable enough to haul itself up to the mountains outside of denver. Okay, that's all I got!

This is my project in progress. I call her the MARRIAGE WRECKER! 11.5:1 SBC TH350 4.10 gears 18x12/18x9 335/30 & 255/35zr 18 BFG. I have built everything from parts I had laying around besides wheels and tires. Cant wait to drive her actually down a real road not just blasting the side streets.

Re: Post pics of your Longbed Trucks!! No short stuffs allowed!!

My current beast, although when I get the chance she will be taken down to a SWB as I intend on trying to mate a 1973 4 door cab up to a chopped 1970 C20 bed and the original 1970 front end (hoping to take the '73 from firewall to back of the cab and attach the 1970 stuff to the front and back ends)

1970 Chevy C20 Custom Camper, 350 V8 w 189k original miles, runs and purrs like a dream (After my user error causing the battery to die the last few times) pretty much all original...... at the moment anyway

Re: Post pics of your Longbed Trucks!! No short stuffs allowed!!

Sorry, don't have a pic, but do have a GREAT story about a long bed pickup. Without going into the details, had to name our daughter, Sierra, based on where she was conceived...and I will tell you that it was not in the bed of a short wheel based GMC pickup!! Gotta love the long beds for any # of reasons!!! Pics of the truck, not conception, will follow.
