we did have a good time at the car show!! got to cruise down and nice curvy road to get there and the truck did great. its even getting about 13mpg on the highway so im pretty happy with that since i have a bigblock without overdrive
i didnt take very many pics because i didnt bring my camera but here are a few pics i took with my phone

this was a good looking ford!! this is a static drop. i dont know how he drives this thing

Re: intro + 66 black bagged long fleet

been getting a little work done this weekend.. ive got my dash trim/extention piece mocked up. still some more work to do and then start polishing it..

here is how it starts

didnt take any pics of the bending procress but i just used a piece of pipe i had laying around to make the curve. it was a workout to bend it by hand

here is a mockup. i ran out of the stainless pieces because i ended up going with a smaller gap in between them then i originally planed. im going to cover up the switch box with the stainless strips to so it will look like 1 piece

what you guys think?

Maybe I'll try when I grow up someday. Seriously, I wish I had the resources or a place to try, but that's not an option right now. My wife and I are setting a goal to "settle" in somewhere next year & hopefully have a house. I'm pretty creative as well, so the potential could possibly be there. In the meantime, I'll just keep admiring fellas like yourself.

As many times as I've looked over your build… Somehow I missed the Coulter touch on the Hood Latch...
Now I've got to go back and look for more of those awesome details that elevate your build...
