Think you'll have it down to MN for Back to the Fifties this year?

Nice photo of working in the snow. We are still getting some 35 degree C (95 F) days at the moment.
I love new Chrome.

Re: 55 2nd serie GMC
Been working on fitting the front sheet metal on the cab this past week, its now almost ready to go to the body man for the final bodywork. I can't believe how much work it was to fit that new right front fender, nothing would line up. I had to use the front section of a used fender i had around to make it work. The left side fitted very well, just a little work to fit the headlight bezel to the fender.

Re: 55 2nd serie GMC
The damage inside the cab was only to the right side corner of the dash and glove box cover. Was thinking of replacing the whole dash but opted for just replacing the damage section instead.

Re: 55 2nd serie GMC
On my "build break", I apparently missed the wreck. Glad to see you guys are OK. I hate to see that you have to backtrack like this. By the way, what kind of seat belts were you wearing, if any? Lap? Shoulder? Looking good. dug

Re: 55 2nd serie GMC
Thanks, had no belts but will most likely install lap belt in it this time.

Re: 55 2nd serie GMC
That was some major left fender reconstruction shown in post #941! It's disappointing that the fit was that bad. Your truck is coming along great. That should be one great ride!
