Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

I also need an efi tank. I think that Dave has on occasion allowed his dealers, like Travis at Pro Performance, to pass on some savings to thier customers. Contacting one of the resalers may be a better course of action. Go to this thread and let Travis know you are interested in a tank, if we get a good number maybe he can give an even better price than he already gives.

If we can get one in the next few weeks I'm in. Trying to decide between a drop kit or tank. If we get the group buy I'll go with the tank...

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

I'm looking at it too right now. Mounting it on a longhorn frame though. Looks like others have had issues with it on a longhorn. I never wanted to do a bed fill but the blazer tank I installed looks horrible IMO. To close to the diff and hangs down to far. So time to pull it out and find something else I can actually fill too. The blazer tank doesn't have enough angle on the neck to fill it when I push it up in there as far as I did.

I've been looking through as many pics as I can to see if this is going to work for me and tuck up in there as tight as I want it.

I'm also interested in the non-efi, bed fill tank. (14001)
Is another group buy going to be offered? It seems like there is quite a bit of interest.
