Re: Project two tone.
New radiator came in yesterday.
Wasn't a bad buy for $300 and free shipping. Got a lead on a sand blaster, now I need to get my dent puller. Gonna try and order more parts for the 292....we're talking perrty stuff here....and then get out and start working on that cab. Later guyz.

Re: Project two tone.
Thanks Randy! If all goes right this engine should be purring later on this year. Gonna try and get the cab done at least before I worry about firing the engine.

Re: Project two tone.
Thanks for the link TJ. We bought one of those radiators, without the fan and shroud. They look good and hopefully will keep a truck with Vintage Air cool.

Re: Project two tone.
Happy Memorial Day guys!
Had the day off of work and decided it was time to get moving on the 66 for a change! This evening I got the cab Completely stripped down and ready to be sand blasted. Unfortunately I didn't get any photos of the finished result, but I did snap these while working. Check comes this week so I'm a start packing up on sanding supplies and getting some primer and paint coming this way and hopefully within a few weeks I'll be laying down paint! Lotta cleaning and metal patching to do so we'll see. But when I get on a roll it's hard to stop. haha Later guys!

Re: Project two tone.
I wish brotha! lol Lotta clean up to do, and I'm a bit picky on making the paint come out so I'm a take my time on this. Going with a two tone scheme and metallic so it's gotta be done carefully. Super excited though!

Re: Project two tone.
Hey guys!
So Harbor Freight is having their big fourth o July sale. So I wizzed out there yesterday evening after work and purchased a nice portable garage to serve as a paint booth and sand blasting booth. Got most of it together early this morning. Still have to put the back covering on and then the front roll up door. Also gonna build a floor, and a rolling stand for the cab so I can move it around with ease. Got some nice off road swivel tires for that. Also picked up 4 50 pound bags of number 30 sand. Anyhow! Been a fun weekend so far! Sand blasting is coming up soon! See ya!
