Not sure if the pics will load but this is my 87' Bondo Bomber before and after. It's about two gallons is the stuff and a lot more rust. I picked it up cheap and have to turn the motor by hand to a specific position to get the starter to catch. I haven't even unwrapped it since the shaker can paint job.

Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?
Best thing about it is it is totally smog exempt . . not a concern in AL, of course, heh.
It had a "vegetable oil kit" on it, which I am removing and selling. Prev owner made a huge mess with it. . 40 gal tank of grease in the trunk area was soaked with grease. . I ripped out the carpet . . I have decided that the grease idea is overrated. Requires you to find a restaurant with the right kind of oil who will give or sell cheap to you. Then you have to filter it extremely carefully, and even then I am convinced it can cause serious problems. . needs to be diluted with diesel. . . all that time and trouble and diesel (even here in CA!) is cheap now. . |

Just picked up this full Hickey equipped GMC Jimmy. Really stoked to get it! Has a built 454. Going to clean up the interior and under the hood and rock the patina! Originally had Hickey flares and roof rack. I have these to replace them.

Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?
Just finished up my rehash of my '87 V20 Suburban. I installed an '89 Suburban core support, Dana 60 front, Corp 14bolt FF rear, sm465 trans with np205 transfer case, and installed a low mileage tbi350. Was very pleased to learn the dand 60 and 14 bolt had 4.56 gears and the 14 bolt also had a Detroit Locker. I also installed crossover steering and a center console for a '99-'06 pickup between the factory buckets. Next step is a little bit of body work and paint. Thinking I will get rid of the hideous rack on top and put a 4" cowl induction hood on as well.

Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?
Hello I'm new here and just wanted to share my rig. Its a 89 Chevy Suburban 1500. I picked it up in San Antonio about 6 months ago for $3000 and believe it or not it had 48,000 original miles. The interior is pretty clean with the exception of a saggy headliner and a cracked dash pad. It has cold AC front and rear which is a necessity here in south Texas. I put a 4" Rough Country lift and 33/12.50 General Grabber AT2's and still plenty more plans for it like a much needed paint job, new grille, new mirrors, ect. Here are some pictures. The first is the day I brought it home.

Well just realized I never put my 74 k5 in here. It's come a long ways since I bought it in 2012 have been through quite a few different setups in that time to become what it is today
