That is awesome. Put me in line for a shaved cowl to save our cabs from further rust issues in the future after repairing them. Shaved the one on my Blazer and that was a lot of work. Would rather buy one. You guys are awesome asking the truckers what we need.

I have to agree with Sonny - a replacement cab roof would be a great thing to have, even if it was just a strip including the front drip rail that extended back a few inches so it could be grafted in place of the rusty section at the front. I have a '70 and a '71 that both need this.

I asked about the possibility of the roof panel....again; if there's enough demand we'll start to look at it.

LWB floor I'll pass along. Another manufacturer makes them for the '73-'87 and they've never sold very well but maybe they just haven't hit their "Time" yet.

I hope you don't think I'm trying to be a pain here. I was trying to suggest what I thought would be nice... Shaved w/out washer holes. I have never been able to completely get behind late model washer nozzles on these trucks. For some reason they don't seem to jive right for me (kinda like late model sportsides on our trucks). I like modern conveniences, but subtle. Kinda like using a micro switch on window cranks to operate power windows. I like the washers on the wiper because it isn't quite as obvious. It's not that I'm not for customizing, I definately am, but certain things seem to look odd on our trucks. I also think you would have to figure out which nozzles will hit the windsheild at the right spot. Too high and you won't get the bottom washed well, too low and the top doesn't get washed. Maybe you could include a template and a suggestion for the correct nozzle to use. Just my Opinion, probably not worth the bits its written in though!

I certainly don't see any opinion as a "Pain". I agree the calculating the angle and pattern a paramount to this working correctly. I think that finding a later model vehicle with roughly the same windshield angle and measuring the distance from the base of the windshield and split from center should produce the correct placement; even if that setup comes from a car or SUV. I can't stress enough how tough cutting clean nozzle holes is by hand.

The LWB bedsides are supposed to ship here by the end of the month....so they should be about 7 weeks..no pricing yet.

I've seen a few members mention SUBURBAN parts, such as upper hatch, but you haven't responded to any of these suggestions. You should ask guys in the Suburban forum for suggestions. I think an upper hatch would be a good seller, as there are very few good hatches around and a few guys on this board looking for them...myself included.

I think it's commendable coming on here and asking for input from the end user of the products.

Just a quick note to let you know we haven't gone anywhere; just catching up after getting back from Taiwan.

I'm still looking for an auxillary battery tray to buy for a sample and a lower rear bed section from a 6' fleetside bed.

I'll be updating other parts soon.
