Re: 63 stepside SWB project

Well everyone here you go. I would say the kit is easy as for bolt on but when you hit a snag it really sucks. We will see how this rear kit preforms. I hope it is work with all the headaches it gave me.

Re: 63 stepside SWB project

Anthony-

Trucks looking great! A long time coming... I know! Is the diameter for the lower rear shock mounting stud just too big for the shock? It should be a simple a fix, most likely with a new stud. I will get a hold of you tomorrow on the front shock mounts. It's a little easier to explain in conversation!

I am unsure on the panhard bracket... Chase will be the one to talk to on that. It looks like a lot of angle, but that may be how it is designed to work.

Keep us posted on the updates... as for wheels, what styles do you like? Old school? New school? 80's?

Re: 63 stepside SWB project

Dino, I think i want to keep the bed in take and do like i think GMC58 did with some mini tubs but do not know yet. I currently have the short bump stops so we will see how the bed sits on the back and then i will be able to see if i need to cut into the bed or not.

Nathan,

Looking for a different new look. The truck is going to be painted a arizona gold with a pearl white top (maybe). i keeping it a stepside so that is why i was thinking on the mini tubs. I have some friends at Nathaniel high performance that are going to do the 13" brakes. The are going to design the brackets so i can put wilwood in the front as i have them in the back. Once the kit is done, I will get the price for everyone who wants this kit. Thanks all for the compliment.

Yep Cnotch was from airride. Chase is looking at modifying his to go lower. So waiting to see what it looks like and then make my decision.
