That`s what I was thinking.A thick piece of foam sheating does wonders for keeping the old back dry and warm.Gas and oil like to melt it,though.

Re: Well it looks like I'm going to part it!!!

Randy

Looking for the ashtray someone told me there is a difference in the 67 and the one in mine kind of melted and will need the door panels. Are the locks all keyed to one key and is the key there just let me know. Let em know on the fender custom badges if they have sold. One last thing they window handles and door handle on the inside are mine correct 67 if not let me know on those. Not in a hurry just let me know the damages. Stay warm.

Va-tlc, that is way to funny, I never have anybody out helping me so that shouldn't happen
Jeff, got 67 ashtrays. I pm'd you about the door panels. No key for this truck.
My wife said I was crazy, I was out there 22 degrees and freezing rain trying to get some parts off it. I got some of the inside stuff, seats, door panels, some AC stuff, radio, couldn't do any of the outside stuff, snow and freezing rain made it hard on me. Man I need a heated shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Randy

Re: Well it looks like I'm going to part it!!!

I was building a shop until I got trouble from my butthead neighbors. Now the county`s onto me for building a woodshed and screened picnic house w/o a permit.I asked my neighbor to be more careful pulling his (boss's)dump truck out. But,no one tells him what to do.Not that he isn`t over here will his demands.I`ve had stones there for 20 years and he started running oner them and even stratling, making the front of my place a mud pit. Now,I have to apply for zoning variances(hearing)and spend alot of money. He has more violations than me.The buildings are too close to property lines(15-20 years).I`ll get it legal, put my place up for sale, and turn him in for all his violations. My next place will have a nice shop and better neighbors.

...Anyway,back to the parts thread. If you want to wait until after Christmas to ship I`d be fine with that.I`d hate for them to get all mixed up in the hustle bustle.
And,go ahead and sell the badges.I have some.

Re: Well it looks like I'm going to part it!!!

Thanks Tim, it would be better after christmas, the may not throw them around so much. I had the emblems sold pretty quick, I was wondering about the chrome trim on the fenders?
Pics of door panels for everyone else, drivers has issue in bottom rear corner, its rusted a little, vynal needs pulled tight and reglued on that edge too, one small cut in it. Pass is pretty good, has a cut onlower bottom, ou can't hardly see it when on door. Not bad for original and being 40 years old. Arm rests are good, one small chip on the left of one in first pic, hardly noticable. Everything needs a good cleaning. Thanks Randy

Re: Well it looks like I'm going to part it!!!

I think I will stay with the ashtray and the steering wheel. Shoot me a price when ya can and how bad the cracks are. I thought the door panels were metal on the 67's and was going to reshoot them black

Hey Jeff, $25 for steering wheel and ash tray. I'm going out there to get a pic of motor for a guy so I'll get a pic of steering wheel. This truck also has the ram assist setup underneath it. Thanks Randy

Re: Well it looks like I'm going to part it!!!

Randy,
I received the sway bar & glove box door today!! They both were in good condition, except the frame brackets punched through the box & one of the A-arm brackets was M.I.A. I'm looking at getting the Energy Suspension bushings, it looks like they come with new ones!!
I have to work both Sat & Sun (12 hr days), but I will check in in the evenings when I get home & will pay with Paypal on the hood parts.

Thanks Again, David

David, sorry about the box getting opened up, I've never had one open, I could see it happening though. I'll look and see if I have any extra brackets here. Thanks Randy

Rob, they are OK, they need a good cleaning, and waxing, they do have some small surface rust on them, they should clean up, I've waxed out some of these before with surface rust and they turned out real good. I get $10 plus shipping for this pair. Thanks Randy
