Re: Our '66 Short Fleet Build
here are some I took yesterday with the chrome bumper
just fwiw, after the pics, I cleaned up this bumper, it looks pretty good now I used some 320 grit wet dry sand paper, still need to get some chrome polish and see if it will sparkle

Re: Our '66 Short Fleet Build
no, I got an original chrome bumper and swapped it with the white one.
if you look at the pic you can kinda see the rust on the chrome bumper, that is what I cleaned up with sand paper

Re: Our '66 Short Fleet Build
hey that dog drops your bed about 1/2 inch! check the letters on the tire.
I like the flat green, it would look cool with an old army logo painted on the door. |

Re: Our '66 Short Fleet Build
haha he does weigh over 80lbs. and these jeep coils are soft
The wife and I have been talking about putting the Sea Bee symbol on it. the '66 was my father-in-laws truck before he passed a couple years back. he was a Sea Bee. also my biological father passed many years ago and he too was a Sea Bee, so it would have dual meaning for us.

Re: Our '66 Short Fleet Build
Looks awsome! Are you gonna eventually gonna lay some real paint on it? or you gonna keep the primer?

Re: Our '66 Short Fleet Build
nah, we will definitely put some paint on it, just undecided on color as of yet
I was just happy to get it un-calico-ed we still need to strip the interior, inside the bed, and back of cab/front of bed oh and then the there is the little issue of body work
