Re: Finally seeing some progress...
Your truck is coming along great. I like the blue better than the red.
It is nice to see a project come together, plus you did this one in a pretty short amount of time compared to most. Hope you get it on the road for Christmas! Thanks for the tilt. john

It's official. The truck has a heart beat, I cranked it today. I'm trying to figure how to post the video.

Re: Finally seeing some progress...
Your truck is way too clean--I think it is time for an extended beer run.
Who needs glass! Coming along nice.....still can't get over how quick you've done this one. john

Re: Finally seeing some progress...
Haha, thanks John... makes me wonder... if I didn't work 72-88 hours a week or have to delay some of it due to the wedding last April... How would it look?

Re: Finally seeing some progress...
Where did you get the plug wire holders?
Oh yea, I ordered a bunch of parts from your friend Mike today. I'm finally going to attempt some rocker, cab corner, and floor replacement. Fortunatly I've got some bodyshop buddies ( 200 miles away ) to get pointers from. Should be fun. john

Re: Finally seeing some progress...
Hey, you have the same radiator as me. Did you have any issues with the lower hose kinking? Between this radiator and the different water pump on my truck, the stock hose was useless and the universal one kinks too.

Re: Finally seeing some progress...
Nope, no problem with the hoses. I'm running a 94 serp set up but I bought the hoses for a 67. I took about an inch off the top hose today. Fits really well, if you need close up pictures let me know. Or feel free to come look at it, you're not too far... only 45 mins to a hour, haha.

Re: Finally seeing some progress...
Haha, the truck is up in the 1960 area, and so am I for now (Finishing it over the xmas break). Pics would be great. My engine is out of a mid 70s C10, so it's got the long water pump if I remember right.
The lower hole on the radiator, yours had that 45* bend up too right? |
