I use German technology to protect my trucks. And it is easily transferable from one truck to another.....

My neighbors brother in law is visiting from Ottawa and he saw our Cheyenne and we got to talking. He saw my club and battery cut off and mentioned he had worked for the Transportation Ministry in Canada. He said that Canada mandated the chip in the key fob before the US. According to him, the US quickly followed suit so they could continue to sell US made vehicles in Canada. Apparently not all GM vehicles sold in Canada were built on Oshawa. Makes sense now that I think about it. Just like not all types of vehicles were made in Fremont.
