Re: My '69 Chevelle/Winston cup car
get the car back from the blasters.....worse than I had hoped but better than I was afraid....the roof and behind the bumper was trash.....so the body guy installed a new roof and shaved the drip rails ( an old Nascar areo trick)

Re: My '69 Chevelle/Winston cup car
I love it! Back in the '70s when all the rage was cars was jacked up cars, that were drag race inspired,I always wondered why yo never saw stock car inspired cars. I thought it would be so effin cool...and made a lot more sense than something you had to fight in the turns.

Re: My '69 Chevelle/Winston cup car
been at it...need to use the stock rad cradle as it holds the headlight buckets etc....will use a thicker piece of material but you get the idea

Re: My '69 Chevelle/Winston cup car
Finalizing the rocker reinforcement arrangement before final attachment.....this is the largest area where the body connects to the chassis.

Re: My '69 Chevelle/Winston cup car
This is just so bad to the bone. Its an awesome build. I wish it could be the end to see it done (as well as I'm sure you feel the same.)

Re: My '69 Chevelle/Winston cup car
Awesome project!!! I've always loved the 60's/70's Nascar styling and thought something like this would be cool, and here you've gone and done it!! Can't wait to see more!

Re: My '69 Chevelle/Winston cup car
It looks very Mad Max like that but I have to say it'd look better with a nice shiny paint job and period sponsorship stickers so it looks like a proper racer.
