Re: Show your Long step side.
Here's a 68 C-30 Step side with a long list of options including the 50th anniversary package. Was for sale on trucks board and a member here bought it to restore.

Re: Show your Long step side.
The above 68 C30 was mine, and yes, I sold it last year to a guy in Florida. I'm not sure what his plans were for it. It was originally a 9 foot stepside, but someone years ago cut one foot from the back of the bed, which made it look strange. Unfortunately it had spent too much time in an Indiana field rotting away and was too much for me to handle. Hopefully the new owner can resurrect it. An original C30 9 foot stepside in anniversary gold, CST, buddy buckets (also in anniversary gold), 327, PS, PB. There couldn't have been many of those made.
Also my K20 longbed stepside (old pic in avatar) will be pictured here soon - when (or if!) I get it back from the paint shop. Dave

Re: Show your Long step side.
I find there are very few of these in restorable condition most likely due to why they were bought and how they were used. It does seem that this style has a new interest among this style of truck enthusiast. I like mine very much, the box does look different at first but it's looks do grow on you. After you've owned one a while the short ones tend to look really different and too short. I will say it would have been very interesting if gm had made this style of truck with a 7 foot bed for a best of both looks and usability
