Re: 68 shortbed frame up rebuild (dropping it) - pics
that they did, i did go with CPP's disc brakes. It came with a stock height spindle but I went with airbagit's 2 in drop. once we get the bags in it and the shock relocater, we will see how it sits and decide if i should go back to stock height.

Re: 68 shortbed frame up rebuild (dropping it) - pics
it didnt rain too much after 1pm so we knocked it out in just a few hours. but after 7 or 8pm, one of the rain cells hit. the shop has a tin roof and we could not hear anything because it was so loud. kinda sounded like hail but im glad that it was just rain.

Re: 68 shortbed frame up rebuild (dropping it) - pics
Make sure you do a lot of bracing there. you cut out a LOT of frame on that. About 2" more than I did on my notch.

Re: 68 shortbed frame up rebuild (dropping it) - pics
Ok I see I was thinking about ordering some but I'll probly just get the lower one cause I don't have a welder to weld the lower bag bracket on the standard lower arm. They look good though

Re: 68 shortbed frame up rebuild (dropping it) - pics
i thought one of you 3 guys would have caught it
lets do a little math 1st pic - 2 pic = 3rd pic had to bust out the plasma to get the 2 rivets where it went through the frame and another plate.
