Re: "The Yellow Truck"
Yes, I just mounted the cab, cut the floor for the transmission, having a new bell crank mount made and working on a drive shaft. There's still some interference between the cab and headers that needs fix. I'll post pics when I get back into town on Monday.

Re: "The Yellow Truck"
Thanks! The real challenge now is setting up the clutch. I have two options for the bell crank mount, one on the engine and one on the bell housing. I think I'm going to use the one on the engine and pivot off the shock mount made by Nate Porter. The linkage will definitely be modified to accommodate the shorter distance. It's too bad I spend so much time at work or this would be tackled already.

Re: "The Yellow Truck"
Here's what I came up with. Chopped up a wonderful chrome shock mount to add the tang that holds the bell crank. Did a quick mock up then dropped it off at RPM to make it "pretty" with better welds.

Re: "The Yellow Truck"
I took it apart and had the chrome shop polish it, then I used a clear coat so I don't have to repolish. If I did it again it would just chrome it. The clear coat dulled the finish ever so slightly

Re: "The Yellow Truck"
I am pumped on this trans combo! I have a T56 sitting on the table waiting on me to get my butt in gear! Why did you prefer mechanical clutch instead over hydraulic? You might save me some headaches!
