Re: 60 dodge truck
yea its going slow. well i mite go stick shift since the crank is drilled, but its just the matter of getting to the yard to get one and if we get the snow this week i doubt ill get there for awhile. i still have garage cleaning to do yet. but i was looking at my cab and i mite just fix and be done with it. if i can get my buddy to stop down one day and use his truck to pick up a 4x8 sheet of 18 gauge metel i can form my own repair panels. but i need to drop out the front clip and add a few gussets, weld it all up and clean the front part of the frame and atleast primer it for now.

Re: 60 dodge truck
well lets see if the pics will show up from the gf's cell phone, for the mounts i switched the pltes that bolt to the motr itself from left to right so the bolt hols are level. also redid the the mounts on the frame. the 360 isnt to teribly dirty, should clean up nise with a few gaskets and paint. and i started in on the cab, cut a few pieces out the needed repair on the passengerside. will get more pics tomorrow

Re: 60 dodge truck
couple of todays pics got the floor pieces tacked in. the main floor panels are out of a 57 chevy cab,( under the seat area), the cab is junk. and also a pic of mu shock mounts, will be adding a brace that will go to the frame for extra strength.

Re: 60 dodge truck
todays update pics, started on the p/s cab step. i was wanting to keep the curve style step as original but it was just easier to square it all off. i did get the back panel cut and welded to the main part of the step and have it all tacked in, will get more pics tomorow.

Re: 60 dodge truck
the door fit on it ok, but im just not happy with the outcome of the step. maybe im just being to picky, but thats why i dont get **** half the time. i usually come up with a better plan of attack after i did things one way

Re: 60 dodge truck
well earlier this week i did start on the d/s step. as i didnt like the p/s side i did the d/s kind of to the stock form which looks a hell of alot better. but today was a bust as the gf's car was acting and the trans blew out of the kids car, so is going to be a workless weekend on the truck at this point, but anyway a couple of pics of nothing special

Re: 60 dodge truck
nope, i haven't been in the garage to much this week, been looking around for cars for the gf and the kid, did pick up an 01 hyundia elantra for the gf today for $800. still on the lookout for one for the kid. and i have to get up to my buddy's shop with a lift to replace rear fuel lines on my blazer so i can get it inspected. i hope to get back on it this early this week. any progress on getting your shop up and running to work on your 58
