Nice work. Love your ride. Also those Manual Valves seems to be a good idea!

Re: DLoE's Dropmembered 65 StepSiDe Build
well i tried to drop my motor in today but looks like i will have to make or have some one make motor mounts for me. when i get the motor close, the oil pan sits on the rack, also the passenger side of the 292 has a different configuration than the 250. The fuel filter and motor mount are switched.

Re: DLoE's Dropmembered 65 StepSiDe Build
Looking good brother, if you need that welded up or anything just let me know. How much room do you need for the pan? Can you modify the pan to make it work?

Hey Del, Not to sure? How much room do the v8's have when you guys have them in? I was thinking maybe like around 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch?

Haha!, OK OK ya got me! well they are called Yankee Tri-Bar Mirrors, I believe they were a dealer add on back in the day. I am not sure what they are actually off of. I will be powder coating them a flat black before installing them.

Re: DLoE's Dropmembered 65 StepSiDe Build
Engine is in!! After talking with Nate, i ended up making new plates with mounting holes 1" higher for the motor mounts so to clear the rack, then Finished fabricating the pass. side mount.
