Re: MOTOIMPAIRED'S Build Thread......

Just found this thread and all I can say is I want to see it in person. I'm about an hour north of you in Lake County and I can't think of a better first time out cruze for my "American Beauty". I should be ready to ride in two weeks max and would love to meet you and check out your truck. That is if its ok with you.
You really got my attention with the mini-guns, I actually helped develop the real thing for G.E. and Uncle Sam in the 70's (I got it to go from 4700 rpms to 6000 by redesigning the feed mech).
Congrats on a great build!
Brad

I re-read my post and didn't mean to come across like a stalker, your truck is amazing and I would like to see it in person. Also would like to hear your opinion of mine but I respect your privacy.

Re: MOTOIMPAIRED'S Build Thread......

Came back for a little update. ot on the road like I wished I would be but so close. I could have it on the road really but I keep changing things and coming up with new ideas. I really need to stop and just get it going down the road!!

Finally got one of my doors painted tonight. I think it turned out pretty good. I would like to get it outlined real thin by a professional pinstripper some day.

I didnt like the way I painted my forst air tank so I redid it to this.

Rims are painted black but still need to be pinstripped and tires mounted.. nice and glossy like I wanted though...

Finally got all the wireing done, not one original wire left in the truck. Here are a few pictures of the lights. Not the greatest but you get the idea...

I want to post more but Photobucket is so slow tonight it is killing me!!!!!!!

Thats awesome! I think it would be cool to see the Vulcan guns in the front used as signal lights.

I wanted to just make it so they spin as I go down the road but not sure how to and mount them also. It will be another project down the road..

Re: MOTOIMPAIRED'S Build Thread......

very nice progress! glad to see it's still taking shape...you know with some of these type builds there's the potential to go overboard, and things can become cluttered a bit...but I don't see that with yours...each piece is unique and fits the theme well

Thank you sir..

I just want the truck to be parked somewhere and have people stand there and be able to point out different stuff. I have always enjoyed looking at peoples projects and being able to appreciate the creativity of it..

I already have ideas for another build and this one is not even done yet.. Lol
