Re: 96 Caprice N2billet Style

Had a chance to work on the Caprice today, I painted all the trim around the side glass, the center posts and the mirrors semi-flat black to match the wheels. I plan on painting all the other trim pieces white to match the body.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Sweet cruiser! Painting the trim is really going to be the winner once you tint it...going to really clean up that window area. Also painting the rest of the trim white will clean it up that extra little bit...

Re: 96 Caprice N2billet Style

Hard to tell from just pics, but does it need adjustable lower links to help re-center the rear wheels?

They make longer uppers and lowers to move the rear end back but I don't know if it requires a new drive shaft....might do it later but for now it's not in the budget of this project.

I did mine with stock drive shaft with no problems. I look at those rims and it makes me want to finish my car!
