Re: No Limit Spy Photos

The rear rail kits should be ready to go just befor SEMA, at the end of October. Here's how it's going to be packaged.

1) Rail Kit. This will have the rails, crossmembers, gussets and all of the hardware. Also this includes the bed stands. This is a 4" raised rail to fit a shortbed box. The bed floor must be raised 4" to clear. Appx price $1175

Now, you need some suspension parts. Build your own or choose parts from us.
Trailing Arm use your OE arms and rear axle, and top it off with a selection from the following:

2) Upper Coil Spring - or - Air Bag Mounts This upper mount kit bolts to the new rails. You can use OE type coils, or a 9000 series slider bag. Coil springs can be 0" to 3" drop. We recomend a 2" block kit first, (remember that the rails drop the truck 4" to start) then additional spring drop if needed. The bag set up is a 3" drop at Ride Hieght. Appx kit price $95

3) Pro Panhard Rod This kit includes a long, low mounted adjustable panhard rod and hardware. Also, the spacer and mount plate include the lower sway bar mounts. This is designed to use our 'High mount bar' or a splined torsion bar. List $219

4) Shock mounts This is a version of our rear-outboard C10 shock mount kit. This includes upper and lower mounts and all of the hardware. List $149

Go to Coil-Over Socks
5) Coil-Over kit This kit includes upper and lower mounts, hardware, billit Romic single adjustable coil-overs with 225 lb springs. Your choice of shock and spring length, 6", 5", or 4" stroke shocks. These will add 2", 3", or 4" of additional drop (from the 4" rail). We suggest using the longest shock you can, and getting additional drop from a block kit. List price $635

6) Rear Sway Bar This is our new High mount rear bar. 1 1/8" solid. It will work with coils, bags or coil-overs. Includes bar, urathane mounts, links and hardware. List price $239

I WANT A 4 BAR
No problem, skip all that and add a FatBar 4-bar kit. This includes everything needed. Chassis mounts, housing mounts, bars, adjusters, bushings, panhard bar and mounts, all hardware, and your choice of coil-overs or bags/shocks. The suspension will drop the truck another 4" (8" total) at ride hieght. Appx 1 1/2" adjustment up/down. Air drop total is 13" from stock. Appx price $1175

TOO EASY Yes, it will be! All of the mount points, and holes are already in the rails. What ever you pick, it's an easy install.

What about the bed floor? No, we didn't leave you hangin. We will have a 6 piece riser kit coming soon. This will make raising the floor a one day task. And, give your truck a professional finish.

What about a gas tank? This rail shape is different than the normal C10. We have already put mounting holes in the rear two crossmembers for a fuel tank. This will be a new design tank built for the C10 Rail Kit. the 19 gallon tanks will not hang below the body at all, as we can raise them 4" under the floor. Standard Fuel Tank $459, Tank with EFI pump installed, $775

Now it's up to YOU Now you can build the truck of your dreams, in your own garage.

I saw the article in Street Trucks (I think that's where it was). Very nice kit. This will make it a breeze to convert these old long trucks! Great job!

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

This is an overview of the rear clip. We did a lot of fitment work to be able to use existing C10 components, making the rail kit more adaptable. Our first testing will be with stock arms and coils. These coils are a 3" drop, for a total of 7" from stock (3" from the springs, and 4" from the rails). Some of the panhard mounts and shock mounts are the same as outparts for stock C10 rails. The coil/bag mount is designed to use a stock spring or a 9000 series slider bag. BTW, we did flip the front TRA mount

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

The sway bar is our new JTR-1 rear bar for C10's. The mounting for the new rail is a bit different than on a stock rail. At the trailing arm, the same link mount plates are used. We also fitted up a CPP low mount swaybar, and it will work fine if you already have one. Last pict is a teaser, this is the front bed rail of the upcoming raised floor kit.

Will you be making a trailing arm conversion kit for 73-87 C10s?

One more question, are the coil-overs single or double adjustable?

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

Rob has said that the WideRide is ~100 lb less than the stock IFS setup.

The coilovers are single adjustables from Romic.

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

Thanks W.I. We are looking at the 73-87 for a trailing arm rear, but....., It only has a 50/50 chance. While a trailing arm is a great suspension choice, it needs to be in the correct platform. Wide chassis, and or high-rail chassis work well for TRA set ups. The goal is to get the arms out wide on the axle, taking the load off of the axle tube and providing a wide suspension base. Narrow, low rail chassis, like the OE 73-87, make this difficult, and with a stock rail, a 4-bar may be a better choice. If we do build a TRA package for the 73-87. it would be based around a new high-rail frame section.

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

Would you recommend your wide IFS for a street/strip set-up? I think the weight savings is almost worth the extra $$$. Shooting for 10secs with daily drivabilty and comfort. Would it be too hard to set-up corner carving and still have the ability to hook at the track?

Re: No Limit Spy Photos

Strip set up is easy. for street driving you wil have 16 to 18 clicks of rebound in the front shocks. At the strip, reach down and take ALL of the rebound out of the shocks, 0 clicks, then run it. normally, 100 lbs = .1 sec. but, 100 lbs off the front of a truck = .2 sec. Then, if the R rear tire isn't biting hard enough, un-hook one sway bar link in front.

Good info. Rob...on these shocks which way is "0 Clicks"? Fully clockwise, or CCW?
