The bed mounts are definitely different on the suburban... Were actually going to be using some of the brackets and mounts as well as fabricating some new ones... Ultimately the bed will work with the frame and bumper....

Soooo I know putting the hood on is a challenge,,, after an hour of fighting w it come to find out the original hinges are shot..... Guess its off to the Chrome Guy for a new pair...

I was looking at those hinges but It looks like something I should of considered prior paint and assembly... Keep in mind for the next truck

I don't think it's too late, but I know where you're coming from. I'm disappointed with new aftermarket oem style hinges. I think my wore out originals were better

What kind of paint are you using? How many coats of clear do you have on it? Paint job looks great!

I believe House of colors..viper red.. We sprayed 2 solid base coats and 3 clear coats... Wet sanded/ buff/polish and wax after...

It's actually not a Chrome dipping shop,, he is called "the Chrome guy" the st
ore specializes in 67-72 chevy trucks and older..... Pretty much every part you need in chrome or original....... It's kinda like a candy store for us truck builders lol
