Re: 1967 Stepside Tangelo AKA Shorty Doo Wop

Suspension is all installed! Power steering gearbox I picked up a few weeks ago cleaned up nice and with a little modification fit like a glove. Also, Ray knocked a set of 73-87 power brake booster brackets off an old unit, sandblasted and drilled them so we get that nice OEM look with the CPP 8 inch booster vs the ugly bracket that comes with.

Nice progress sir. When do you hope to have this thing completed? And what did you decide to do about the holes in the bed sides?

I plan on having it done for Dino's Git Down next friday!!! Its a mad dash but were pushing it. I will have some more pics by this weekend.

Holes? Yeah I am stuck with those for a while....I had plans on painting the roof white and fab'n in some bedside panels to fill the holes but that ain't gonna happen. I had to buy a new fuel tank today and a list of other items obstacles I was not planning on.

Just wait fellas..its gonna look good.

Air cleaner test fit....Used a stock 70-72 BB air cleaner spacer to push the 70-1/2 camaro z28 air cleaner just past the HEI.

Still waiting for my new quadrajet....using the edelbrock carb for now.
